Student or Student Society Room Bookings

The Union has a wide range of potential venues that can be booked by students. We do not charge students or student societies for room bookings - they are FREE.

All rooms are booked from Union Reception. If you request the room to be set up in a certain manner before your arrival our porters can usually make this happen.

The Union Lounge - bookable after 3pm. Contains a plasma screen and speakers for audiovisual presentations.
Martin Luther King Room (MLK) - bookable after 3pm. Perfect for course meetings
The Global Cafe - bookable after 5pm. Much larger venue, bookable for presentations or meetings
Second Floor Meeting Room - bookable 9am-5pm. Formal meeting room.
The Retreat - bookable all day. Freeform space with tables and chairs
The Training Room - bookable all day. Freeform space with tables and chairs.

Note that if you are a student or a student society booking a room for use by a third party commercial venture we will charge you as such.
