Activities Centre

 The Activities Office has moved downstairs onto the first floor, where the previous Job Shop was, and is now known as the Activities Centre. This is now the home of:

• AU President - Jimmy Greene
• Activities Officer - Immy Davies
• Activities Manager - Mark Bennett
• BUSA Administrator - Emma Moses 
• Activities Development Co-ordinator - Emily Leaper 

This is where all Union contacts and help for volunteers running societies and clubs can be found. The give it a go and the volunteer module is also run from here.

Opening hours: Monday to Friday 10am - 3pm

Service Standards

All Student Services within the Union Society operate to the highest standard possible to provide you, the student, with the service and support you deserve. Service Standards that are published, measured against and state how we are going to implement service improvements are produced. If you feel that we are not keeping to these then please let us know using the comments cards provided in Student Services departments.

Hot News this week:

The long awaited news about the snow ball has arrived. The snow ball will be held at the Marriott hotel, Gosforth on the 1st December from 7.30/8 till 1.30, come along and welcome in the festive season with your society on this famously memorable night!!

Tickets will be on sale tomorrow until Tuesday 25th November at reception or from me in the activities office,

The tickets will be £36.50 for a group booking of 10 or £37.50 for individuals.

Tables will be sat in groups of ten and you will need to fill in a table plan on this internet, this will all be explained when you buy your tickets.

Each ticket will include a three course meal, bucks fizz reception BOTTLE of wine and entertainment from the Jazz band a magician and a DJ. There will also be a raffle with many great prizes up for grabs and cheep drinks deals....

This year I am doing a masquerade theme so don’t forget to come with a mask in toe, the ball will also be supporting world aids day.
