RAG Week 2008

Hey, my name is Claudia and I am the RAG Officer 2007/2008.

RAG stands for Raising and Giving. RAG Week is a full week in which volunteers from Newcastle University raise as much money for charity as possible.

RAG Week 2008 will be taking place from the 2^nd-7^th of February, however, events are planned to take place all year round. For instance RAG Raids, Boomerang, Bungee Jumping and Abseiling, as well as RAG Snaps and other non-alcoholic events.

I will be working closely with Scott Adam (Activities Officer) and the selected committee, to ensure that events are organised and the most amount of money for RAG is raised as possible. The selected charities to be benefitting from RAG this year are; SCAN, BHF, Cancer Research UK, The Children’s Foundation and Mercy Ships UK.
